Sociology? Why? 

If I am must to much sincere, i should tell you that I decided my career in the final minute of the postulation without had a reason, of course, if I do it I can´t write 120 words, because of this i will formulate a little more elaborate idea about because to i chose sociology.

Since ever, I was better in History and Language that in sciences, naturally, this influenced my decision. In addition, I had political interest, specifically for the inequality in its different expression, and I assumed that this career would bring me tools for analyze this unjust situations. Fortunately, I was right, for example I learned statistic tools with which I can do evaluate empirically the inequalities.

In summarize, I chose sociology because they was the career more similar to my interests.

Francisco Javier Meneses Rivas was born in Santiago City. He grew up with his grandma, parent and her brother. He has fond memories of about his friends and the stupid things what was did with them.

He never cared about school, although had the lucky of had good education. Maybe, to he not cared because he not found the meaning. This changes in the 2011.  After one year participating in the strikes of the student mobilization, he thinks that this world and, more concrete, this country has a lot problem that need solute. For this objective, he started worrying about his studies. He repeated, for improve grades and “Nem”.  Two years later he goes to an adult school, because repeat again. This time, he repeat not for something transcendental reason, merely he fall in love (love that live even until today) and neglected his studies. Repeat again improves his grades, and the adult school was very easy, so got better ranking, and had more study time for “PSU”.

Today study sociology with his girlfriend at “Universidad de Chile”. Live in downtown Santiago with his girlfriend and his father in law. He works as particular professor and investigator  at a “Fondecyt” about moral economic and meritocracy perception and preferences economical redistribution. In his free time, play whit his cellphone,
